The 12th annual Great Bridge Fisherman’s Association Flea Market hits the Chesapeake Conference Center this Saturday, with the doors opening bright and early at 8 a.m.
Tickets are $4.
But it ain’t about the entry fee with this much-anticipated event. It’s about the deals you can find on old, slightly used, brand new – and all points in-between – fishing tackle.
Among the 111 vendor tables also will be representatives from various angling-related groups.
Several boat dealers and private individuals will have boats for sale outside near the entrance. Southern Auto Group will have a couple of nice trucks to pull them with.
And if Mother Nature acts as predicted, it’s gonna be a great day to spend indoors window shopping or actually buying a ton of neat stuff.
Forecasters are calling for a windy, rainy day. The conference center will be selling drinks and vittles throughout the day.
There also will be lots of fish tales and staring into others’ cellphones looking at last year’s memorable moments.
