Boat show starts tomorrow just as snow approaches for the second weekend

Mother Nature isn’t being too kind to the Mid-Atlantic Sports and Boat Show this weekend.

The 69th edition of the event could be looking at a snow-out Saturday if forecasts hold.

“The weather is not helping,” organizer Russ Kostinas said. “If it snows big time, we’re not going to open Saturday.”

But Friday and Sunday are still open, especially Friday since the storm isn’t expected to start until later that night.

Hours are from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday if this thing turns out to be much-to-do-about-nothing, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

So far there are 19 boat vendors and 45 boating- and fishing-related vendors selling just about everything for the boater.
